Historic HeroAn automotive sculpture inspired by the Bugatti Type 35. It was created with the car lover and auto racing buff in mind.
In 1924, Italian Ettore Bugatti designed and built the legendary Type 35. Weighing a scant 1400 pounds, and propelled by a supercharged 135HP straight eight engine, it dominated racing. A cadre of brave drivers used its high revving engine and superior handling to claim victory in over 1800 races. It won the Grand Prix World Championship in 1926. And for 5 consecutive years, 1925-1929, a Bugatti 35 was victorious in the treacherous Sicilian endurance race: the Targa Florio.
